Mount Nelson will be on parade at the TBA Stallion Parade at Tattersalls on Thursday 2nd February, as will Newsells Park Stud’s other resident sire, dual Gr.1 King’s Stand winner Equiano.
Mount Nelson’s first yearlings sold well, with more than sixty offered they averaged four times his 2009 stud fee and recorded a median of £30,000, three times his fee. They are now with all the right trainers who are more than happy with their progress, and the Stud is hopeful of some exciting first runners in 2012 by this dual Gr.1 winner whose sire, Rock Of Gibraltar, had such a great season last year.
